The historic hamlet of Acton sits to the west of Swanage, an enviable position along the south eastern end of the Purbeck Hills in the heart of the Jurassic coastline. A rural location yet within easy walking distance of Langton Matravers, with Village Stores & Post Office, Public House and School, or Worth Matravers to the west with dramatic coastline, Tea Rooms and the legendary ‘Square & Compass’ Pub.
The sandy beaches of Studland and Swanage are a short drive, and a regular Bus Service from Swanage travels through to Wareham and on to Poole, with train links available from Wareham and Poole.
